SPEED TECHNIQUE: In every sport the difference between scoring, defending, and ultimate success, can simply come down to speed. We teach every athlete the correct and most efficient mechanics of running to increase overall speed. Repetition is used to increase muscle memory of running mechanics.
CORE STRENGTH: The abdominal muscles initiate virtually every movement in the body and are crucial to athletic performance of all athletes. Our core program comprehensively strengthens these vital muscles.
POWER: Our drill are designed to increase power, making every athlete more explosive and stronger during sports-specific movements.
AGILITY: Body control and quickness are very important elements in every sport. We incorporate progressive drills, which improve athletic body control, coordination, quickness, and reaction during competition.
All Ages Sport Specific Programs
I often get asked the question, "what age is a good age to start my child on weight training?" The truth is, right now! With proper supervision, weight training should be added to every athletes training program, regardless of age. Combining the CrossFit method with sport-specific (football, baseball, basketball, etc.) skills training is a very effective approach to making an elite athlete.
Youth Performance Training (ages 8-11):
The youth program is designed to educate the athlete by incorporating balance, neuromuscular coordination, improving basicrunning technique and flexibility, and reducing unnecessary injuries - while enhancing their sport performance and overallathleticism.
Developmental Performance Training I (ages 12+):
The Developmental I program is designed to continue training of balance, neuromuscular coordination, running technique, and flexibility along with complex power moves: clean & jerk, snatch. These compound Olympic lifts lay the foundation for power movements applicable in all sports. Technique is paramount.
Developmental Performance Training II/High School Training (H.S. athletes and accelerated youth):
The Developmental II/High School Training program is designed to teach young athletes the proper way to train and the necessity of consistency in their training. The goal is to improve an individual's weaknesses and increase their athletic performance through strength and movement training, while reducing unnecessary injury in all sports.
